The restaurant's philosophy is simplicity, naturalness and real, pure taste. Each dish here is prepared only from carefully selected ingredients: fresh fish is supplied directly from Baltic Sea fishermen, Lithuanian organic farms and certified international suppliers. Seasonal changes dictate the choice of fish - in autumn, bream, sturgeon, Baltic and Atlantic cod are offered, in winter - smelt, in spring - Baltic halibut, flounder and wild catfish, and in summer - eel. In addition, restaurant guests can indulge in fish and seafood from the world's oceans all year round.
The menu consists of both traditional and exceptional dishes. Here you can taste the famous French Bouillabaisse soup, the delicate taste of Chilean sea bass or grilled fresh fish, which can be watched while being prepared on the outdoor terrace in the warm season. Professional waiters will always advise which side dish will best complement the chosen fish dish and allow the authentic taste to unfold.
A story based on a passion for seafood
The history of the restaurant “Žuvinė” began in the summer of 2003, when the first specialized seafood restaurant opened its doors in Palanga. The high quality and unique concept quickly won the sympathy of locals and tourists, and a year later – in 2004 – the restaurant joined the international gastronomic association “Chaine des Rotisseurs”. In 2011, “Žuvinė” expanded its activities and opened a restaurant in Vilnius Town Hall, thus becoming one of the most important fish restaurants in Lithuania.
