The SMĖLYNAS apartment complex, situated in the quiet fishing village of Preila, opened its doors to holidaymakers in June 2015. This completely renovated and newly furnished guest house satisfies the most sophisticated expectations. When you step over the threshold of SMĖLYNAS, you dive into a cosy oasis of elegance. Panoramic views of the Curonian Lagoon open out from the windows and balconies of the apartments and surround you with the blissful freshness and tranquillity of Neringa. All your worries and problems will be gone when you walk barefoot in the golden sand of the Baltic Sea dunes…

The guest house is situated in the very centre of Preila, in the same place as the former Kurhaus – right next to the lagoon and spacious park. The Baltic Sea is just 5 minutes away by bicycle or 15 minutes by foot along the path leading through the pine forest. There is an excellent infrastructure for cycling and reliable bus transport to other towns of Neringa.

Besides its tranquillity and active recreation facilities, Preila can offer you visits to historical places: a walk to the ethnographic cemetery of Preila of the 19th-20th centuries, climbing to the highest dune on the Curonian Spit – Vecekrug Hill (67.2 m), or visiting the monument for L. G. Rhesa, one of the most famous poets of the 19th century.

The SMĖLYNAS apartment complex is an ideal place for escaping from the rush of the big city and enjoying romantic moments together. A cup of coffee in a spacious balcony at sunrise, or a glass of wine at sunset will help you rediscover the path to your loved one’s heart.

The guest house also welcomes families with children. The apartments are fully adapted to all the needs of little ones: on request, the hosts will provide baby beds and high chairs, and mothers will find anything they may need to prepare a family dinner in our perfectly equipped kitchens.

Prices are based on four people staying in the apartment. Each additional guest is charged EUR 20 per night.

We accept your four-legged pets for an additional fee. For a pet weighing up to 7 kg, the fee is 12 EUR per night, over 7 kg - 15 EUR per night.

Reservation

  • When booking an apartment, a 30 percent deposit is required. The remaining amount is paid in cash on the day of arrival or by advance payment. Payment by bank cards is not possible.
  • The reservation is confirmed only after the advance payment has been made. If the reservation is made but not paid for, it will be canceled after 2 days.
  • Arrival - from 4 p.m., departure - until 12 a.m. Earlier arrival and later departure are negotiated separately.
  • The minimum length of stay is 2 nights during the low season and 5 nights during the summer season. Shorter stays are negotiated individually, depending on availability.
  • The apartments are designed for a quiet family vacation (parties are not allowed). Quiet time from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Apartments

The 5 luxurious apartments for rent at the guest house "SMĖLYNAS" will ensure your perfect rest. When creating these houses, the help of a professional architect and interior designer was used, and high-quality natural materials were used for decoration. All apartments are equipped with modern kitchens, TV, and fast wireless Internet. The bedrooms and bathrooms exude subtle elegance. Guests are provided with towels and toiletries. The apartments are decorated with author's photographs.

Guests can use the laundry facilities free of charge. There is a bicycle storage area in the yard. Each apartment has one free parking space.

Each apartment is marked with the number of guests we can accommodate. Some apartments can accommodate more people for an additional fee.

We work all year round.
