The SMĖLYNAS apartment complex, situated in the quiet fishing village of Preila, opened its doors to holidaymakers in June 2015. This completely renovated and newly furnished guest house satisfies the most sophisticated expectations. When you step over the threshold of SMĖLYNAS, you dive into a cosy oasis of elegance. Panoramic views of the Curonian Lagoon open out from the windows and balconies of the apartments and surround you with the blissful freshness and tranquillity of Neringa. All your worries and problems will be gone when you walk barefoot in the golden sand of the Baltic Sea dunes…
The guest house is situated in the very centre of Preila, in the same place as the former Kurhaus – right next to the lagoon and spacious park. The Baltic Sea is just 5 minutes away by bicycle or 15 minutes by foot along the path leading through the pine forest. There is an excellent infrastructure for cycling and reliable bus transport to other towns of Neringa.
Besides its tranquillity and active recreation facilities, Preila can offer you visits to historical places: a walk to the ethnographic cemetery of Preila of the 19th-20th centuries, climbing to the highest dune on the Curonian Spit – Vecekrug Hill (67.2 m), or visiting the monument for L. G. Rhesa, one of the most famous poets of the 19th century.
The SMĖLYNAS apartment complex is an ideal place for escaping from the rush of the big city and enjoying romantic moments together. A cup of coffee in a spacious balcony at sunrise, or a glass of wine at sunset will help you rediscover the path to your loved one’s heart.
The guest house also welcomes families with children. The apartments are fully adapted to all the needs of little ones: on request, the hosts will provide baby beds and high chairs, and mothers will find anything they may need to prepare a family dinner in our perfectly equipped kitchens.

Prices above are for four persons. Each additional guest is charged EUR 15 per night.
We accept your pets at an additional cost. For pets weighing up to 7 kg, the fee is 10 EUR per night, for over 7 kg – 15 EUR per night.
Reservations
- When booking the apartments, a 30% down payment is requested. The remaining amount shall be paid in cash on the day of arrival or by a pre-payment order. Credit cards are not accepted.
- Booking is confirmed only after the receipt of the down payment. When a booking is made, but no payment follows, the booking is deleted after 2 days.

Apartments
he SMĖLYNAS guest house has three luxury apartments for your perfect vacation. A professional architect and interior designer took part in the creation of this house, and high-quality natural materials were used for decoration. Each apartment has a modern kitchen, TV and high-speed wireless Internet. The bedrooms and bathrooms unfold with subtle elegance. Guests are provided with towels and toiletries. The apartment is decorated with copyrighted photographs.
All guests have access to the washing machine and dryer on the ground floor. A place for storing bicycles has been installed in the yard. One free car parking space is allocated for each apartment.
