Vinetu Shamanic Swing Dance Camp – Festival
August 1–3
This summer we invite you to a unique experiential dance festival – Vinetu Shamanic Swing Dance Festival!
The festival will take place surrounded by nature, in the village of Vinetu, where you will find Jazz and swing rhythms, Lindy hop & Boogie Woogie, dance lessons with teachers, professionals from France, England, Latvia, open dance evenings under the stars and Indian rituals along with drum rhythms and amazing live music concerts and performances, combining music, movement and nature.
The festival is suitable for both beginners and advanced dancers – several classes will be held at the same time, adapted to different levels.

- Saule Jazilionytė & Domantas Jakštas (Lithuania) – Lindy Hop

Food and Accommodation:

During the festival you will be able to enjoy fresh and healthy vegetarian food – delicious porridges, stews, homemade bread and hot drinks. Food can be ordered in advance or purchased on site. Prices are friendly, but there is an opportunity to cook your own food in specially designated grill areas.

Important: It is strictly FORBIDDEN to consume strong alcohol or drugs at the event. The organizers reserve the right to not allow unwanted or intoxicated persons into the festival area.

More about the dance teachers:
- Ichtiandras & Agnes Veliulis (Lithuania / UK) - A couple who teach Lindy Hop and Popping styles. Ichtiandras started dancing in 1984 and has had extensive experience in various styles, including breakdancing, disco, acrobatic rock and roll and Lindy Hop. He has taught classes at international camps and dance clubs. Agnes started dancing Lindy Hop in 2002, studied with the most famous London teachers and danced with the groups "Sophisticated Ladies" and "Simon Selmon". They have participated in camps in the USA and Europe and regularly teach and perform.
- Aivars & Rūta (Latvia) – A couple from Riga who teach Lindy Hop, Charleston, Solo Jazz and other swing dances. Their dancing journey began with acrobatic rock and roll, but they were inspired to dance Lindy Hop in 1994, when they first visited the legendary Herrang dance camp in Sweden. For many years they were leaders of the swing and rock and roll club “Ķengurroks”, gave lessons and performed. Their goal is to share the energy and love for swing music.
- Zigmunds & Elina (Latvia) – Boogie Woogie dancers with 20 years of experience. They took their first steps at the Herrang dance camp in Sweden and follow the philosophy of their teachers Marcus & Bärbl. They participate in international dance festivals in Europe, teach individually and enjoy social dancing.
- Swing Daiva (Lithuania / UK) – Professional Lindy Hop, solo jazz and tap dancer, teacher and event organizer. With over 20 years of experience on stage, she has collaborated with Kaunas Dixieland “DixXband” and regularly teaches Lithuanians in England. She has also participated in the Herrang dance camp in Sweden and was inspired by Frankie Manning’s training.
- Saulė Jazilionytė & Domantas Jakštas (Lithuania) – Lindy Hop dancers since 2014, who returned to Klaipėda to found the Jazz Fam community. This community promotes swing dancing and jazz music, organizes events and invites you to discover the joy of dance. In 2024, they introduced the first Swing Rueda dance course in Lithuania – a social dance that brings people together and connects different dance cultures.
