Clown performance - "How butterflies appeared"

Updated 11 June, 2025
Clown performance - "How butterflies appeared", inspired by the story of the writer Gioconda Beli about creativity, perseverance and dreams.
Butterflies are birds similar to flowers, that's exactly how they were imagined when they didn't exist yet...
Two clowns set up a workshop and, experimenting with transparent objects: film, water, bubbles, foam, transparent straws, connecting shapes from them, etc., try to create something new, something as beautiful as a flower and graceful as a bird... their tireless efforts, desire to cross boundaries, perseverance, and experiments cause many smiles and good emotions in front of the audience.
The creators of the performance pose the question - how does a work of art come into being that makes you want to smile when you look at it?
The performance is intended for the whole family.
Duration - 40 min.
The event is free of charge
The project is financed by - Klaipėda City Municipality
